I used to think marketing was for the executives who would put millions of dollars behind my music and take care of it for me. But after floundering for years with lots of great, perhaps even timeless music and no fans to speak of, I realized I needed to buckle down and figure out this marketing thing on my own or else I’d have no future in the music biz.

Are you kidding, musicians don’t have that kind of bread!
